<p>Hi,
Does anyone know when Move In Day is for the New Brunswick campus? Rutgers website is so outdated. All the info available is for Spring 2010. It's already August and I have no information on my classes or dorm room or when we move in. All my friends at other schools have had this information for a month now.</p>
<p>Saturday, August 27 is the move in day. Spoke to housing awhile back as my son is an OS student and we needed to know to arrange plane fare, etc. I believe that the housing assignments and all that type of information will be out this week and mailings will go out as well. As far as classes it won’t be until around the 20th of this month</p>
<p>Housing should on the Enrollment Pathway tomorrow, that is, if things are running smoothly after the housing glitch.</p>
<p>I’m volunteering to do move-in day this year. It’s Saturday, August 28th.</p>
<p>Just a word about housing, now we won’t get our info until Friday August 6th.

<p>They’d probably rather do it Friday so they have the weekend before people start calling & complaining.</p>

<p>My son’s room assignment was posted today, not sure if it’s a glitch or not.</p>
<p>^ Did you receive a link to the housing page? It wouldn’t be a glitch if they also included your son’s roommate. Were you given the name of the roomie-to-be on that assignment page?</p>
<p>The housing assignments seem to be appearing for some on and off for the last 10 days or so (full addresses and room numbers but no roommates mentioned).</p>

<p>Well he got his post office box number today so it’s getting closer. Unless that is a glitch too…</p>
<p>The speaker from res life at yesterdays orientation said rooms would be posted last night. They are obviously done.</p>

<p>I checked and mine is there too! Since they posted the lock combination too, I’m pretty sure it’s real.</p>
<p>Oooh… I got a new PO Box number too. It finally changed to reflect my Douglass residence rather than College Avenue (which is where I lived last year). In that case, I don’t think the PO Box thing is a glitch!</p>
<p>So yeah, it’s getting closer :D</p>
<p>The fact that I haven’t seen anything at all when many of you have seen the PO box thing makes me worried about being waitlisted. If was done last night, why don’t they just post it already.</p>
<p>^ Wait. I thought you were accepted. You didn’t hear back from Rutgers in regards to you being admitted yet? :(</p>
<p>No, I mean waitlisted for housing. My understanding is that they aren’t doing hotels at all this year so if they are overbooked, the excess will go on a waitlist, albeit a short one.</p>
