Move in Day, what to expect

So, I'm moving in on the 21st at 11. I'm going to live at Kinsolving. I was just wondering what the process and how parking is done.

You’ll have to go to Disch-Faulk field which is the UT baseball field across the interstate, to get your key. The place will be packed and you’ll have to wait in line. Then you’ll be able to go to your dorm, probably park right across kins because there’s a parking lot there. Be sure to get a parking permit from the front desk at kins and leave your blinkers on. You’ll have about an hour, depending on how big your move-in time slot is, to get your stuff up to the room. I don’t know if kins has dolly carts you can use to move your stuff up, but at least yall have elevators. (Some dorms have 4-5 floors and don’t have elevators. Needless to say, move-in/out is terrible for them)

@kaygar09: I thought for kinsolving you would have to go to the residence hall to get your keys and check in.

^ It depends on the time that you are checking in. Middle of the night or early move ins are the dorms, regular time move ins are at the baseball field to pick up your keys.

ooooh ok, im doing early check in the morning.
