<p>I know the first day of classes is August 29, but does anybody know the date for move in day?</p>
<p>I called the housing office for my son since we live out-of-state and were hoping he could attend Camp Texas and then move into dorms early – that is not an option, unfortunately, and orientation requires another flight to Austin.</p>
<p>They explained that the actual move-in date for residence halls is August 24, but early move-in at $50 per night starts on August 21. Apparently students schedule their move-in check-in time by making a reservation on the system sometime in June/July – there will be further communication sent later. Hope that helps!</p>
