<p>I move in at 8am Wednesday, August 13th. Parents must be gone at 5, and we then have a dorm meeting.</p>
<p>Then they are having a bbq from 6-10.</p>
<p>What should I do afterwards? How do you get to know people and form friendships?</p>
<p>Well, if you go to the "Free Time" menu and then go under "Friendship Builder" you can build on a friendship, but to initiate one you have to go under "Go Out" and then "Meet People." It's a mixed bag on who you'll meet but you might get lucky.</p>
<p>Ahem.</p>
<p>Just go hang out with a couple people from the bbq. Play some frisbee or something. Don't go back to your room, just go hang out with some people.</p>
<p>As chuy implied, don't make a science out of it. Just do what you normally do to meet people.</p>
