<p>On Move in day, I know that everyone has a specific time slot (mine being 9-11 am) according to their zip code. Do your parents have to leave at the end of the time slot, or can they leave later?</p>
<p>That freshman time slot is actually when you start to stand in line to get registered for your room and get your key. Be aware that process of getting your key alone can take two hours as the line gets huge and they never have enough people working the line (sometimes only one or two) to move with any speed. For actually moving in, which won't start until after you get your key, your parents can stick around as long as they like.</p>
