can we just rock up whenever we want??? or do we hav to come in morning

You can come anywhere between 8:30 am and 5 pm, I think.

uscchicka,

on the first day of classes, r the classes gonna run their full length, or r they gonna end early just cuz it's the first day?

good question, i may have to camp out for Housing so anyone got a general knowledge of 1st day class schedules?

one more question to throw into the mix: do we attend any discussion section/lab sections before the first lecture?

man i am so ready to go!! cant wait. I still gotta do alota stuff b4 i leave tho (pay speeding tickets, buy a bike, buy new tires, new clothes, shoes, finalize loan papers), not that anyone cares or anything. It feels weird to move out

Usually the first time you attend a class, the professor goes over their credentials, gives a brief description of the class, goes over the syllabus with you then you're outta there early. This isn't always the case though.

For discussion sections/labs, you don't have to go if your first lab/dis section is before the first day that you have the lecture portion of the class. If it is after the first lecture meeting, they will tell you whether or not you need to go.

And, just so you all know, if you reigstered for WRIT-140, it usually shows up on your schedule as having a lab, but that only meets like 3 times all semester (spectrum speaker series) and def. doesn't meet the first week.
