<p>It looks like if you just had an extra set of the two supports that hold the mattress up you would be able to loft it. Maybe if I become really good friends with some maintenance folks they can “misplace” the key to the room where they store the extras 
lol</p>
<p>The rooms are actually quite spacious even with the desks out from under (at least the modern dorms).</p>
<p>Oh and are there any draers or closets that lock?</p>
<p>Nothing that locks…there’s just a regular set of drawers (with 3 drawers) and a smallish closet.</p>
