So freshman move in day is today. I won't be able to make it... Will I miss anything?

Yes, the huge crowds all moving in at once. Otherwise not much.

ummm… that’s it? so there is no other specific activity going on ? or any thing I need to learn of (rules, etc…)

As to rules/general info, you will receive same package of info that anybody else gets today and can find almost anything on the website. You will miss the event in the main quad with a band tonight. Here is a list of events: [Office of the Dean of Students :: University of Illinois](http://www.odos.uiuc.edu/newstudent/welcomeweek/events.html)

A few more questions sorry, I’m assigned Hopkins, so where do I go when I get to campus? What’s The Family & Graduate Housing (FGH) office, do I need go there first?

[Move-in Day | University Housing at Illinois](http://www.housing.illinois.edu/Future/Incoming/Move-in%20Day.aspx)

That’s where I get the infor, and it says "Check-in will be more efficient if your forms are completed in advance and you provide the appropriate documents, " what documents do I need to bring and what form? I only have I-card

go to hopkins’s front desk. fgh can’t help you with anything. you only need your icard. plus $5 and a photo id (not your icard) to check out a cart to move your stuff.

^Correct above. That website you were looking at when it refers to anything about FGH is referring only to family and graduate apartments for graduate students or students who are moving in with their families into those units.
