<p>Can someone who has been through the move-in process answer this--</p>
<p>Do you show up at the staging area at your assigned move-in time or do people line up hours in advance?</p>
<p>We arrived about 15 minutes before our scheduled time (this was 3 years ago). There were people in line in front of us, but people arrived after we did, too. I'd be surprised if anyone actually showed up an hour early! It was an impressively well-organized move-in, and the staging area in particular was well-run.</p>
<p>My d is so happy to be a VUceptor this year! She'll be part of the Move Crew, which I understand will be smaller than in past years. My d tells me that a huge effort has gone into the entire Freshman Commons experience. Best of luck to your d for a wonderful first year - and to all of you for a hassle-free move-in. My suggestion: let the young people move all the heavy stuff, while you hold onto the paperwork. :)</p>
