NJ…at least we didn’t bring a Uhaul ;)…(might need to rent one this year though ) with DD living in Sterling Crimson. She has been “collecting” for the condo since the day she returned home. We have been using her brother’s room for a catch all…hmmm…wonder where he will sleep this week when he returns for a visit??? Ha…Ha…!!!
I will echo Mike…we made a Target run and by the time we got back move-in was basically done for the day and we just schlepped our stuff in form the Tut parking lot. We had gone the night before as mentioned to get a few larger things that we needed to build (brought Bro along for that!) and so that the helpers could take up the big boxes for us. Had to laugh because her brother was “embarrassed” by her amount of stuff but the move-in guys assured him that she was about average for this type of thing.

when we moved D in last year her car (ford escape) was totally packed and ALL her stuff fit in there. when it was time to move out it took most of two cars (one being a suburban)! part of that was the addition of some things (6 foot bookshelf, a big tv, a rug, throw pillows, plastic target drawers) and part of it was that it was not packed as well (packed in garbage bags and moved out in one day).

What time is the “Family Dinner” on Friday night, Aug. 19? Is that any kind of program? Or is it is just, “Hey ya’ll, come grab a bite on campus”? IOW, would we be missing anything if we skipped Family Dinner on Friday eve?

And, is there a charge for the meal?

Where are you seeing the Family Dinner mention for Aug 19th?

I thought move in started on the 20th for those who aren’t doing OA, AA, or rush.
