Move out day

Do any current parents or students know - can you stay a night beyone the move out date? My D has a final on Wed. (5/25) from 3:30 - 6:30. I believe this is the lastest scheduled final time. Anyway, according to calendar, students (except seniors) must be moved out of dorms by 10pm that night. We'd prefer to get her the next day, since we do not want to first get her and drive home, after loading car, after 7:00 pm. Do they make any exceptions? Perhaps they let you stay and charge for that night? She lives on North Campus in James smith.

I don’t have a specific answer but you could call the UD Housing Office at 302-831-1201 and inquire about this.

My daughter received this email from housing earlier in the week and forwarded it to me. I suspect your daughter received it as well:
