Move to Georgia!

Convince your parents to move to Georgia! All in-state students who graduate from high school with at least a 3.0 do not pay tuition to attend UGA or GA Tech (or any other public school). If you maintain a 3.0 in college, you continue to be able to pay nothing for tuition. A bargain? What an understatment.

I agree, a much better bargain that Massachusetts. We get free “tuition” to the University of Massachusetts system if we perform well on the MCAS (standardized test to graduate HS). However tuition is only $1,000 something and fees are $8,000+. Tuition does not include fees

Hm, didn’t know that - thanks for sharing!

HOPE scholarship?

UGA is probably my top choice for graduate school. I am hoping to get into a scholar visitation program so they will pay for me to visit. It seems like a great place!

It really is a great place. Academic powerhouse, heavenly weather, great athletics, beautiful campus, probably the best college town in America. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
