Moving from Econ at Liberal Arts College to McCombs??

Hey guys, today I just logged in the UT online site where you could check all of your admissions papers and all that stuff, and for my surprise I was accepted at UT.

The problem is that I chose Unespecified Business for McCombs but I just could get into Economy which was my second choice at the College of Liberal Arts. I've got some other options in the US and also here in Mexico, but UT really sounded as a good option.

Could you start maybe on freshman year at Liberal Arts and then switch to McCombs, because McCombs was really the main reason which convinced me for UT.

Any ideas guys?

Thanks,
Pablo

Yes you can transfer after freshman year. It is based entirely on GPA though. 2/3 of kids who apply from to transfer from another college at UT to McCombs get in.

Oh I get it now, so it will just probably be a matter of not letting my grades go down and then I could switch.

similar question...can you transfer from LAH to the BHP after freshmen year? and if so what are the requirements, and do you know of anyone who has done this?
