Moving in/Living at Rosen Campus

Hello everyone. I'm entering UCF as a Transfer Student & I'll be living in the Rosen Apartments. Is there anyone who has lived or are currently living at the Rosen campus who can tell me the move in procedure? I couldn't find anything on the site that talked about parking on move in day at the Rosen campus, although there is information for those moving in at the main campus. Also, how is the commute (with/without shuttle) back and forth to the main campus? I've heard it's about a 40 minute drive which doesn't worry me. I've been there & done that lol. Is the shuttle pretty reliable?

Thanks for your help!

I don’t know anything about the move in procedure, but there is a ton of parking for the amount of people that live on the Rosen campus. The dorms don’t get completely filled up so I don’t think it will be too difficult. There is one entrance onto the campus with a guard at the gate who is usually very nice and informative. The shuttle is reliable, with some normal exceptions. The commute can be tricky depending on the time of day you travel so you may want to plan that to your advantage. Rush hour and the airport can are both factors. The office at the Rosen campus is pretty helpful. Maybe call them directly?

Thanks for your input, alongwait. I’ll be giving them a call today : )
