<p>Does anybody know if they will let you move in the day before?</p>
<p>I know that if you choose the FIT pre-orientation program you can move in several days before the official freshman orientation. My son did that last summer. However, he didn't like the program and found the dorm pretty empty and lonely during those days, which was a lousy beginning to his college experience. Thankfully, once freshman orientation started and the dorms started filling up he was a happy camper.</p>
