moving schools?

Hi guys,

i was wondering how bad it would look to move to an easier school JUNIOR year of high school. the reason i want to move is because i HATE my current school. there is SOOOO much pressure, and I constantly feel depressed. don't get me wrong, i have straight A's(this year, last year I got a B in AP bio :( ), but its just that there is SOOO much competition in the top 10 people and its overwhelming(sometimes I think i have depression by staying in this school). also i didn't get elected as an officer for a club today, but that's definitely not the reason i'm considering moving.
will colleges look down upon me for moving to an easier school, even though my transcript is relativey good from this school(at least sophomore year) and my projected SAT is high? btw my sister is going to college next year(in case thats relevant)
thanks for any input!! :)

another thing: the schools are very close to each other(maybe 10 minutes driving?), same state. but their ranking is very different. will it look bad to colleges?

bumpppppppppppppppppppppppp

anyone? /10char this is urgent!

If you don’t like your current school, and have the opportunity to change schools, and want to change schools, then change. That simple.

anyone else?

I would move. Do whatever you think is right.

but would colleges suspect anything? after all, i’m moving to an easier school…

I don’t think colleges take that into consideration unless the high school is one that is very well known for its rigor.

yes, my high school is known for its rigor. any other thoughts?
