Moving to Arizona 1 Year Before To Get In State Tuition(Residency Status) Possible?

Is it possible that I could apply for the Fall of 2015 right now and move down to Arizona for the 12 months required and apply for residency status? It seems like as long as you have evidence of living in Arizona for 12 months straight and severe ties to your former state then you can apply for residency status and pay in state tuition. I really don’t like where I live and I feel like moving out now would be a good idea let alone convenient to pay less for tuition.

Except Fall 2015 Fall semester starts August 20th and that is less than 12 months away.

I guess it would count for spring 2015 semester

What I did coming from CT was to be a part-time ASU student year round for two years while working a part-time job. I also registered my car, got an AZ drivers license, and registered to vote. I got my residency, but it took me 5 yrs to graduate. On the plus side, I was able to focus on only two classes a semester and had lots of spending money due to the job. Good luck with your college career.
