Hi Everyone,
My incoming freshman just found out that Mower Hall will be home for the 2018/19 school year! We have found it very difficult to find photos of any Mower dorm rooms. We have scoured the internet and have had very little luck. We know that Mower and Lionel are both small buildings, each housing approximately 35 students. We’ve seen room descriptions like cozy, quaint, light, airy. Does anybody out there have any photos or links to videos where we can see a Mower room? Even seeing a Lionel room would be helpful as the two buildings seem to be twins. We will take any info or feedback you can give! Thanks!!

Tommy Lee Jones lived in Mower B-12 and Al Gore lived in B-11.
@skieurope care to elaborate? It’s a room…Nothing special about it? Have you been in a Lionel or Mower suite? We are just looking for basic info. Hardwood floors or rugs? Large or small bedrooms? How big are the common rooms and bathrooms? It’s harder to get info on the Mower and Lionel rooms than some of the other Harvard dorms.
Yes.
Wood floors. The bedrooms are on the small side. The common rooms are not large, but not small. A bathroom is a bathroom; it was not memorable. If you’re trying to judge scale for placement of furnishings, you’re (or rather your kid) better off waiting until you actually see the room.
Mower/Lionel are super convenient if one has a 9 or 10 a.m. class in the Science Center. Also note that neither dorm has a laundry room; one needs to use the one in Stoughton.
