MP3 Accompaniment

Hello everybody!

So I just wanted to ask if anyone knew of a good website to find almost strictly piano accompaniment mp3's for auditions? It doesn't matter if it costs money but I'm really in a bind here since schools don't like karaokes and all the tracks I've found for my song are way too jazzy. As always help is appreciated! :)

Do you have someone who can play for you to have the accompaniment recorded? That’s what my d did – then she knew the piece was exactly what she wanted (as far as 16 bar, 32 bar, the right tempi, etc). She worked with her accompanist, they digitally recorded the tracks and converted them to MP3 – she then loaded them onto her ipod (and a back up CD!!) and took the ipod, small speaker set and CD to auditions with her.

Try this website. You can scan you music, with or without cuts and they will send you an mp3. Reasonably priced. You can even call them and sing a few bars to set tempo

They are wonderful. Good luck.

Thanks dramaqueenmoma that site looks exactly like what I need. Thank you!

We’ve had great success with Brandon Sturiale. Just google his name. He has done all of my D’s mp3 cuts for years. In some cases, he already has the music, if he doesn’t, you’ll have to email it to him. You just have to tell him the cuts. Everything’s by email. It helps to send him a link of an example of a similar tempo (youtube works well for this). (or talk with him via phone about it). His prices are reasonable, but as always, shop around. He’s also an excellent audition coach in general. Very easy to work with!

Great info!
Will these services do 32 bar cuts as well?
