Take the big two, for example: both Hopkins and Harvard accept many current, experienced health care professionals into their MPH programs (doctors, nurses, dentists), so a comparison to a current undergrad just doesn’t make sense. However, those same two do take a lot of current undergrads into thier non-MPH grad programs, such as a M.S. in Biostat or Epidemiology.</p>
<p>Do ask individual schools about the GRE, however. Back in the dark ages, one PH school I knew had a hard cutoff for the math score. They claimed that their Biostat course was so tough, it required better than average math skills.</p>
