MPH vs. MSPH

I'm an undergrad psych/premed and philosophy major. I don't have that great of a premed GPA, 3.1. My majors are around 3.6. I also didn't do well on my MCAT, 24. I need to bolster my science GPA and study up for my MCAT. I want to enroll in either an MPH or MSPH program while I study for the MCAT, but I don't know which is better for my circumstances. Which would a medical school look more favorably upon? Are MSPH programs much harder to get into than MPH programs?

If you want to bolster your science grades enroll in a science Masters program, i.e., MS in biology or something close to your undergrad major. An MPH doesn’t contain that many hard math-science courses…typically, just biostatistics and epidemiology.
