MPH vs Research?

<p>So I got accepted to SUNY Downstate's MPH program. I am not sure if I should pursue an MPH degree or if I should do research at some university (perhaps Harvard or even the Broad Institute) for a year.</p>

<p>Any preference on what would be better for medical school??
I am finishing my undergraduate degree this semester</p>
