MS @ Columbia-CS - GRE 1280[Q-800, V-480 , AWA - 3.0]

<p>Hi planning to apply for MS in Computer Science, I guess my profile is strong enough but my AWA is killing it.. :( .</p>

<p>The CS department site writes :</p>

<p>Is there a minimum General GRE Test score?
No. Most admitted applicants, however, have scores of 650 or higher on the Analytical and Quantitative sections of the test.</p>

<p>Please evaluate my profile </p>

<p>Toefl - 101 (27,25,24,25)
UG - NITK, India among top 10 Technical universities in India. GPA - 8.24/10
Internships:
1. Lalisio , Germany - 3 months in junior year
2. Nokia, Germany - 4 months in senior year</p>

<p>Work Ex - </p>

<ol>
<li>Oracle India - will complete 2 years in June 2010</li>
</ol>

<p>Don’t pay attention to AWA. I got in with GRE Q:760, V:340, AWA:3.0</p>

<p>You need to show a great research potential in your personal statement and LOR. Good luck :)</p>
