<p>My son is a freshman at Stanford and has expressed interest in the MS&E program they offer. The program offers 8 different concentrations including: 1.Organizations, Tech, and Entrepreneurship; 2.Systems Modeling and Optimization; 3.Economics & Finance; 4.Decision and Risk Analysis; 5.Production and Operation; 6.Probability and Stochastic Systems; 7.Stradegy and Policy; and 8.Information Science and Technology. I was wondering if anyone had any opinions about this program and how job prospects would be with that major. He has also told me that he wants to double major in Economics. I am a history teacher and not in the business world so have a difficult time advising him. </p>
<p>Any help/comments would be appreciated since he is unsure of what type of work he wants to do other than it being in the field of business.</p>
