I was wondering if someone could give a comparison of Stanford's MS&E program versus Penn's M&T program. Thanks!

I would like to be an entrepreneur, and these are the two best programs that I have heard of.

I was under the impression that M&T is harder to get into than Stanford's undergrad. But if you're into entrepreneurship, definitely go to Stanford. M&T can't compare with all the resources/connections that Stanford has.

Thanks, but can you elaborate on the programs? I have a fairly good understanding of M&T but I know almost nothing about Stanford's program. I'm trying to decide where to apply early. It's so hard!

What is M&T? I'd be glad to tell you what I know about it but I don't recognize the acronym.

M&T is Penn's program combining management and technology -- a degree from both the engineering school and wharton. Specifically, it is the Jerome Fisher program in Management and Technology. THE JEROME FISHER PROGRAM IN MANAGEMENT & TECHNOLOGY

Oh, okay, I have a buddy that's in that program. As a Stanford student I can tell you that Penn's program is infinitely better than MS&E.

MS&E is just another major, not a whole separate program like Penn's.

The better question is which one you have better chance to get in? If you are from east coast, your odds to get in Stanford are lower. However, both are reaches for almost anyone. Also ED Penn helps increasing the odds but EA Stanford does not.
