MS in Automotive engineering

Hey guys, I'm a Motorsports Engineer (From the University of Hertfordshire, UK) can anybody help me out with Automotive/Motorsports schools in the U.S? I have shortlisted a few below
1: Michigan, Ann Arbor
2: Clemson University
3: Indian University - Purdue University, Indianapolis
4: Kettering University

The subject wise ranking of Michigan, Ann Arbor is 5th in the world according to http://www.topuniversities.com/university-rankings/university-subject-rankings/2014/engineering-mechanical#sorting=rank+region=+country=+faculty=+stars=false+search=

IUPUI offers an MSc in Motorsports Technology, but i'm not convinced about the reputation of the University but I am very much convinced about the course structure. they cover all the main topics needed for a Motorsports Engineer

Need info and help on finalizing a school. Also, feel free to recommend other Automotive/Motorsports schools in the U.S?
Thank you
Anirudh

My son goes to IUPUI and loves it. But he is in Business. He does have a buddy that is in the Motor Sports Program. They are inextricably connected to the Speedway “the Brickyard” area of Indy (track, offices, engineering, marketing etc.) . In some circles that is the Holy Grail of Motor Sports.

At least come and check out the school. Pretty cool place.

Food for thought.

Thank you very much Goodkidsdad. I’m in India right now. Yes, I very much liked the Motorsports course that IUPUI offers. I am a bit worried about its worldwide ranking and would it be fruitful if i graduated from IUPUI and went elsewhere looking for a job (For example, the UK?) At the moment i’m a race engineer and prepare cars for the Indian rally championship and American motorsports is quite different from European style.

P.S: If I find IUPUI better than UNC and Clemson, IUPUI it is

I am not familiar with any of the programs. But I do know that the Brickyard (Indy 500) in Indy is a way of life for a lot of people. I believe your degree will be from Purdue which is very good public engineering school. A very unique concentration though!

Good luck!
