Dear All,

My daughter, has received admit for MS In Biomedical Engineering from Duke, Umich, Columbia and Cornell. While it appears great, it is just too confusing. Which one she should choose being an international student. I am unable to decide as I dont have adequate imputs covering

(a) Quality and Support for Research work.
(b) Quality of Education, inclusive of Faculty to student ratio, of Faculty staff etc.,
(c) Standing of Alumnis.
(d) Quality of Placements.
(e) Other parameters which you may deem fit please.

Looking forward for assistance from one and all. Tks

Congratulations to your daughter! These are all excellent schools. She really can’t go wrong with any of them. They have very different campuses, though, so she might want to investigate which setting she prefers.

Hi Blackeyedsusan,

Thanks. However, having gone through various forums and platforms, which has left us both quite confused. In fact she is looking upto me for some incisive evaluation. I suppose the final choice could be amongst three ie., Duke, Umich and Columbia. Just help me out if possible please
