MS in CompSci a good investment?

Please tell me more… I was already thinking of doing a MS in CS because, my school has an accelerated BS/MS route–which allows a 16 unit overlap between the BS and MS… Then I was also thinking of getting a MS or another BS in math… but how I can get a MS in bath w/only a BS in CS, I don’t know…

Computational Science and Systems Engineering are the two that most readily come to mind that you should look into. With a computer science background though there is an insanely large number of disciplines you could go into. Really, just about every sector in our economy is moving towards using high performance technology and advanced analytical methods to solve problems. I believe that’s where the really good jobs will be in the near future and we’re actually already seeing that here and now.

Does anyone want to comment on Inmotion12’s post? I would like to hear more, so I could do all that I need to prepare for the MS I choose to pursue…

Inmotion12 summed it up. How many other people on this thread has said essentially the same thing.

You are in college? Don’t spread yourself too thin.

@LongPrime,

Sorry, what do you mean by “Don’t spread yourself too thin”?
