MS Sports Management at USC

hi...im from China and have been accepted to Masters in SM program this fall. But im confused as i know very little about the school and the program. I can hardly get much information or find someone to talk to as im out of the States. Could anyone tell me more about it?

One of the most important things im considering is internship opportunities. I know finding an internship is not going to be easy anywhere, but do the school have good connections to actually help students? Also im concerned with Carolina's location. Columbia looks like a quiet and smaller city. What types of internships do students usually do? I am interested in tennis but it seems there aren't many tennis associations around.

Issues that im considering:
tuition&fees
school life
alumi networks
internship opportunities
job placement

By the way, i also got admission from Temple U. Its urban campus in Philadelphia is an advantage. But im worried about safety at Temple. i dont want it to be too much of a big issue for me. AND Temple never gives a clear answer to my questions, which makes me more confused about their program.

It's quite difficult for me to make a final decision. I really need your advice...any help appreciated...Thank you very much!

I’ll be going to USC next year, but I live in the Philadelphia area now, so I can give you a little insight into what Temple is like. The area around the school is pretty bad. While you are on campus, security and safety is good, but going off campus is not the best idea. A friend of mine wanted to go there last year, and one of her mother’s main concerns was the safety (she ended up going somewhere else because of financial stuff).
