Hey, I’m thinking of taking the plunge and getting an MSI GS60 Ghost Pro to replace my 3-year old, obsolete, piece of crap on which I write this thread (funny, my laptop is currently digging its own grave…). Anyone who has experience with MSI, do you like your laptop? I’ve read lots of great things, but I want to make sure before I commit practically my life savings to a new computer.
Not an MSI owner, but I have a friend who owns one (not your model). He loves his laptop, except for its battery life (like all gaming laptops). From my observations, the brand is very reliable, and I notice that he never complains. I must say that the model that you are interested in is a real “beast”! With that type of hardware and light weight of that laptop (relatively), it is pretty rare to find one like that.
If you decide not to buy MSI, I would recommend the Asus ROG series.
I have the Ghost Pro-003. Agree with everyone else ever, that battery life is not the best. I haven’t really tested it yet, but I’ve gotten around 3 hours with power saving on and screen pretty low. Runs well, boots fast.
