i'm in akers!

Case, not in james madison and didn't request it. Oh well, still not a bad dorm.

Congratulations Everyone!

Will anyone here be attending the july 9-10 orientation with me?

not me. Mine's Aug. 19th, so far away...

hey I'm August 19th too...woo! I'm pretty sure Aug is mostly out of state students. Anyway Do my parents need to come ?

I'll be there on July 9-10.

nope, parents definitely do not need to come! But if they do, they have some other orientation for them

From the website; "Can my parents come to the AOP sessions with me?

Although this may, at first, seem insensitive, the student orientation is purposely designed to be for students only. The staff is better able to address the unique priorities and questions that students typically have. In addition, orientation is a step in your adjustment to college life dealing with topics you will encounter in college."

haha, I mean darn.

can I be in two residential colleges? i.e RISE and James Madison...or do they not allow that?

I'm pretty sure I heard that someone was in both james madison and lyman briggs, so I know that you can be in 2 residential colleges at the same time. You'd obviously have to choose where to stay though, either case hall for jm or snyder-phillips hall for rcah. And there are probably more complexities involved but at least it's possible

wow only 3 weeks til welcome week, im staying in Akers

I just got an email with my roommate information. Looks like I'm in a triple.
