MSW Programs (CSUF AND CSULB)

Hi guys!

This forum is to get more information on MSW programs

I have been considering the 2 year MSW programs at CSUF and CSULB. However I feel as though there will be no time to work and go to school. If anyone is in either of the programs at the schools listed can you please give me a look into your schedule? When do you work? When do you go to school? etc…

If you are in the 3 year program how do you like it? Do you believe it is a better option for those who need to work and go to school?

I apologize for all the questions I just want to make sure that I am making the right choice. I prefer the 2 year program as it is quicker and cheaper but it may not be an option if I must take off work.

I don’t know specifically about these programs, but I had a lot of friends in 2-year MSW programs and it seems like between classes and practicum hours they were very busy and did not have a lot of time. I had some friends who did part-time work (up to 20 hours a week) but over that might be difficult in a full-time program, especially one where most of the classes are during the day.
