Hi friends. I don’t want to mess up your list since my girl is MT Direction/piano. She applied to four schools and has been accepted to Catholic, Penn State, and ShenCo. She is waitlisted at BW. Penn State came Tuesday and ShenCo called tonight. Scholarships should arrive the first week of March.

For the life of me, I can’t figure out how to update this list. Thought I’d ask you, since you posted it most recently. So, I copied your full post as we’re supposed to do. Then, I clicked “reply” at the bottom of the thread. The list I had copied showed up there (like in the body in the same place where I’m typing this message.) I went and added my D’s results, but when I tried to submit it (by hitting “reply”), I got a message that said the body can’t be empty - as if I had no content in my message.
Any idea what I’m doing wrong? Would appreciate the help!

The same thing happened to me. I deleted everything that appeared in the box, then pasted what I had copied. Not sure if I was supposed to do that, but it worked. I followed the formatting that you could see others had used (if you are adding a new school to the list). That was my very first post in this forum. Good luck-you’ve got this!!

DD just heard from Northern Colorado. First acceptance outside of her safety school. So thrilled!

I am working with four kids this year, so I hesitate to add to the list (last year it was 2 - 1 boy, 1 girl, so easy to separate!). This year I have 2 girls (both BFA MT) and 2 guys (both BFA Acting). Was 3 girls for MT but one decided to take a gap year and will audition next year.
So far there have been callbacks for the girls from Michigan (audition next weekend), Ithaca (x 2), Ohio (x 2), Emerson (x 2), UCF (x 2), Texas Tech, Missouri State, Northern Colorado (x 1), East Carolina, Rider, and many more. Both have gotten artistic acceptance from LIU Post and one from Viterbo.
The guys have gotten BFA Acting artistic acceptance from Oklahoma City (x 2), Baylor and those are just starting to roll in.
All four are accepted to St Edwards in Austin for the new emerging arts program where you can customize your degree and training. I have a theatre student there now who turned down some big name schools to go there and she is loving it! After discussing with my kids this year, they were interested enough to apply. They have an Equity theatre on campus, so there’s that! Plus small environment and lots of mentoring.
When they make final decisions, I will just post that at once.

That St. Edwards program sounds interesting! Wish I would have heard of it sooner. Will be interesting to follow your students’ journeys once again. We are in Texas, as well.

My daughter is seeking an MT program - currently waitlisted for NYU Tisch and Marymount Manhattan does anyone have any information regarding possibility of getting off waitlist for those two schools.
so the advice i’ve heard is to stay in touch and tell them she is serious about them. i think mmm moves well bc the class size is larger and some kids see it as a tough school but more of a backup than say pace or other lottery schools. hope that helps
Was she early decision at Tisch?
She was ED 1 and waitlisted.
Has anyone heard from OU? (Univ of Oklahoma)
We haven’t heard anything, but I believe at least a few have heard.

Yes’s. I haven’t heard no’s yet. I guess they are coming after the yes’s go out…UGH. I hate this!
