And @DrowsyChaperone I’m actually not sure yet which I’ll go to out of Mich and CMU. I’m gonna visit both campuses and see which feels more right. As of now I’m actually still leaning towards Mich, so its very possible still

Greetings talented and hopeful kids and parents. CC has been such a wonderful support system throughout this process. I truly appreciate learning about everyone’s journey. From essays to screeners to Unifieds, and beyond - this has been fun, stressful, and everything in between. There are so many great schools that we never knew existed - I wish we had gone to Unifieds during my D’s junior year simply to walk around and talk to some of the faculty. It might have been an effective way to prepare for the admissions process this year. We are very interested in any information about the MT BFA program at Syracuse. What do you all think/know? Thanks!

@EIS0301 ~ There were 5 kids with acceptances to both UMich and CMU my son’s year. They all choose UMich… Ann Arbor is a great place, especially if you like football/basketball etc.; even if you DON’T like football/basketball!

My son was accepted to both UMich and CMU. He chose Texas State. Every fit is different. Graduating this year!

A wise choice @grayhairedman. You certainly didn’t turn down two good schools for a lesser one. Two years on the college audition circuit – and in my opinion, Texas State offering the absolute best in both MT and Acting. Given the opportunity, I would make the same choice for mine. Throw in the cost, and I think it is the best value for money out there. No doubt your son is already a star. He would have been in very good hands these past four years!
