Wondering when we’ll start seeing a steady stream of acceptances coming through. My patience is running very thin which makes me wish for a thread for anxious parents? :-S
If it’s anything like last year, things will pick up after Chicago Unifieds, but things don’t really start hopping until mid March. I understand your anxiety. We went through it last year and now again this year. The only difference is we were advised to audition for a few early action and rolling admission programs before the holidays. My S got into Emerson so it has taken a lot of pressure off. Even if he doesn’t get into his dream school that doesn’t notify until the end of March, he knows he has an excellent option. Last year, he was wait listed until Memorial Day when they finally told us that they wouldn’t be taking anyone off of the wait list. Another school accepted him on May 1st which is commitment day…Did your S/D audition for any school with rolling admissions?
I with @rochesterMT! Both my D and I are just balls of anxiety. I try not to show it to her — but it is there. And the kids - they just want to know where they are going.
Thanks for the info on the timing of it all. Makes the waiting easier knowing when to expect decisions. As for my daughter, she went the early route and ended up with an early YES decision from her top choice, Baldwin Wallace. I can’t wait to see all the action on this thread come March.
