<p>Congrats GSOMTMom! Great program.</p>
<p>Just an update. After all the crazy process my D LOVES NYU Steinhardt MT. Her class of 30(15 MT; 15 VP) are a family. Together for most classes. Things really do work out the way they are supposed to. She took to NYC like a duck to water. </p>
<p>^here too… My D said after the first month or so, “Mom, I know more every day that this is the right place for me!” She’s at Baldwin Wallace. </p>
<p>^^Same with son. Loves the school, his classmates, his professors, and somehow has found time to pledge for a local fraternity. He is at Otterbein.</p>
<p>I thought my son would be in the 2019 group, but he gave up his gap year to attend University of the Arts. He was recruited out of their summer program, and I think he thought it would be just like that – lots of singing, dancing and fun times. But the work has been far more strenuous than he expected. He seemed down for a while, but he got the lead in a student production of “Rocky Horror,” and all is well now. </p>
<p>My S, too, loves his program. WSU’s emphasis on acting is “perfect” for him. Even being in Dayton, OH seems to agree with him. Go figure.</p>
