<p>puma69 in the house…that was very funny - you had me truly laughing out loud. But seriously - this is a serious moment cellomom51 after too long a wait (just like many of us myself included, that sort of kind of ended -“happily” essentially on the morning of April 1.) It’s just too much struggle, work and unknowns not to CELEBRATE as though we have all just won the lottery. Again, cellomom51 - I raise puma69’s extra P, and E, by another 1000 - and raise my glass again to you and your D!!! LOL</p>
<p>As tough as this was for you Cellomom51, this incredible ending to your daughter’s journey will live on and give hope to the wonderful kids and their parental units in the future. I hope everyone joins the new Facebook page for parents who have survived this process 2018! :D/ </p>
<p>One of the lovely, helpful things about each year’s group of drama/MT parents is the honesty about the experience. Posting about our kids’ rejections and disappointments is not easy. BUT think how future parents would feel if they thought all of our children just sailed through this process with tons of acceptances while their kids were struggling and waiting on even one! Not every group of high school senior parents are willing to be truthful for the benefit of others. :x </p>

<p>@austinmt. I totally agree with you. It is hard to share the disappointments that our kids are going through but is so helpful to the rest. I have to say the lowest point in our house was the University of Michigan rejection letter. That was a really tough one for him. That was his dream school since last year. He has his best audition ever he felt but just wasnt meant to be that way. Funny thing is 2 days later he got his acceptance to Ithaca. You talk about a roller coaster. Just so grateful. </p>
