Hi I have a question about whether or not I should audition to become a MT major, or stick in the path that I am on and just minor in theater. I go to American and since I am a current student, I only have this semester to audition for the MT program. The auditions are November 21st. I have always loved theater and really like musical theater, but also like science. My major right now is bio, but I want to know if I should go for the audition and try to double major, or just stick to being a theater minor/bio major. I only have this one shot to audition, but I don't know if I can/should do it. Thanks!

Can you think of any negatives of giving it a try? If not, and a double major is allowed, I can’t see a downside to auditioning with the intent to double-major. Will you be able to complete in 4 years, or will it require extra time? (If so, you might want to consider the financial implications.)
