MT Resume Template

Hello, Does anyone have a template they can share or point me to a good website? We created a resume for a CCM's summer immersion audition but I'm not sure its "beefy" enough for the actual college application. THANKS...I can't believe its almost time to audtion for colleges, where did my baby go? sniff.

MTMajorCook, you said on the NHSMTA thread that your son was nominated for a Gene Kelly Award. I saw the Kelly awards best actor medley. Not sure which young man belongs to you (and don’t feel obligated to let the cat out of the bag), but there were no weak links in the bunch . Congrats to him!

I’m sure someone here will have a resume template to share, but I wouldn’t worry too much about whether it’s “beefy” enough (that Kelly nom adds some beef, as does the CCM summer program). They would rather see a kid with a resume that is true than one that tries to create substance from fluff. My son had his high school shows, and at the time, no outside training or experience at all. It was fine. The resume is important, but the real deal is the audition, the ability to take direction, adapt if they ask him to, etc.

That said, I hope Point Park is on his list of schools. As you probably know, they have a good number of Gene Kelly award nominees and winners in their program.

Thanks CollegeSearchDad, my son was Horton from Seussical! As if his costume wasn’t silly enough the way the mics were wired pushed all his “fat” down LOL. Our school was up for Best Musical it was amazing to see them on the Benedum stage. They all really can not say enough good things about the experince and all the nominees are still in touch. Its amazing to me how quickly they bond.

I remember after I posted this that CCM sent him a template, the participants of the summer immersion program each received some college info from CCM.

Point Park is on the list (high on my list its local and I can see him often lol!!). He attended thier International Summer Dance program the summer of 2102 and really liked it. He also really loved his time with Keisha LaLama during the Gene Kelly’s.

Thanks again!
