<p>I graduated high school in June and applied to mt.sac for this fall. My major is undecided. Purpose is to transfer to a 4-year after.</p>
<p>I'm on the waiting list (4th, 3rd, and 0) for my core classes- english and math. Not sure if I'll get in those or not but if I don't, then do I just continue this fall with other class(es) even if they don't total to that much credits? Or do I just wait for Spring next year?</p>

<p>onto your questions: i am pretty confident that you will get those classes. if worse comes to worse and somehow you dont…then i suggest you waitlist other transferable GE classes that usually dont fill up as fast or arent as popular. IE social sciences, humanities, arts etc. the most impacted courses are math,english and science. they tend to fill up within the first few days of registration</p>
<p>you will most def NOT have to wait till spring…that would make transferring in 2 years impossible. if anyone tells you that you should…kick them. hard.</p>
<p>even if you cant get GE classes, in the absolute worse case scenario…(this will never happen). you can take physical ed courses to rack up units. some still transfer! lol</p>
<p>btw…the deadline to pay for registered classes (not waitlisted) is 8 PM.
so lots of ppl will forget and classes will start opening, i hope.
so get to a comp at 8 pm and be ready to add lol</p>

<p>I’ll go ahead and find other GE classes that are listed, and you were right on getting into those waitlist classes. I was able to register for my English class today. although it starts in october and not august, so the deadline to pay is still tonight @ 8?</p>

<p>because i think bridge combines ENG67 through 8 weeks or so and eng68 through another 8.
otherwise…its possible that your ENG class is a 9 week course as well.</p>

<p>For GE classes I can’t find ANY that are listed in general ed requirements, just classes that aren’t listed. Are taking non-ge classes a waste?</p>
<p>its a waste in the sense that it wont count as a GE.
however if the class is transferable, then its not a complete waste.
but if the course is NOT transferable, then you are solely taking that class to gain units at mtsac.</p>
