<p>I think they updated their FAQ actually, because I never saw anything about labs before they changed the requirements. And the folks I knew who got accepted last year didn’t mention taking labs and don’t need to.</p>

<p>I’ve always been fascinated with languages, and college could be my best time to get fluent in such a difficult and beautiful language. Not to the mention the history of China and the traditions. It’s a beautiful culture I would love to learn more about! Creative writing sounds super cool How did you get into that?</p>
<p>that’s awesome chinese IS really difficult; i don’t know how i would be able to manage all the characters. go you! i’m sure people have told you how useful it will be as well (but we liberal arts kids hate useful, don’t we? haha).</p>
<p>i’ve always loved to read and, by extension, to write. my dream was actually to be a novelist, but i want to do something tangibly useful during the book-writing process. i like people, creative problem-solving, and helping in general, and medicine is good for the soul.</p>
