Hi,

Can you give me some information, any information, about Mt. Sinai? From admissions to campus to students to program, anything and everything. Is it a good school? In what respects?
Is the early admissions (Humanities) program legit and does it sound like a good idea? Basically you apply in the beginning of sophomore year and, if accepted, you sign a contract to matriculate, while agreeing to NOT TAKE ORGANIC CHEMISTRY in college and NOT TAKE THE MCAT.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

shades_children is a current student at sinai, so they might give you the best perspective.

I nearly matriculated at sinai, so here's my take:
It is an excellent school with an exceptional student focus, so if you can get in early, you're set.
The humanities in medicine program is most certainly legit, and the students in the program do just fine upon matriculation, and hell, telling you to not take orgo or the MCAT seems like a blessing.

All I know it is very difficult to get into.

Is anyone else on this forum applying to this program this year?
