Muhlenberg Cares

I have to say how impressed I am with Muhlenberg. Last year, as a junior, I had some lower grades second semester that did not nearly reflect my abilities. I wrote about this in my online application, as well as mentioned it in my personal interview at Muhlenberg.

Today ,in the mail, I received a personalized letter saying that they had read what I wrote in my application and would like to offer resources to help me bloom into the full person I can be--offering up different services within the Muhlenberg campus. I have to say how amazing this made me feel, as I knew, unlike a big school, my application was actually read, and secondly, that at Muhlenberg the main goal is not to be a 4.0 student, but rather a full person. At some of the other schools I visited, they didnt seemed to account for any setbacks, just mentioning how exhaustive it is trying to get an A in any course, let alone for each class you will ever take in a college class. Whereas, for Muhlenberg, they want you to succeed academically, but if anything were to disturb your academic functioning, they help you back on your feet before worrying about grades.
