Muhlenberg's Early Read

Hello everyone!
I am currently in the process of finishing my college application process. After looking at about 15 schools, I think that Muhlenberg is my favorite. I am interested in applying early decision, but I wanted to complete the early read first so we have some idea of what we will be expected to pay. Does anyone have experience doing an early read? How accurate was the read to what your final price was?

Muhlenberg is very good at being accurate in regards to their ED selections. I am hoping you have done all you could have in terms of visiting or meeting with your admissions advisor. Muhlenberg, more then any school I am aware of, places a big value on getting to know their application class. All that being said, best of luck to you! Muhlenberg is a great school and learning community.

Thank you for your response! I have attended an open house and I interviewed over the summer. Is there anything else you would recommend that I do?

The only thing I can suggest would be to get back in touch with your admissions counselor and explain your concern regarding the accuracy of the ED read. See what he or she has to say and see if they can offer any suggestions. I have found them to be very workable and it simply shows them that you are serious about the school but concerned about the final cost. Best of luck to you!

I will do that, thank you for the advice!

Muhlenberg’s Early Read was very accurate for us.

Our older one got an early read there. He didn’t end up there, (which I to this day think was a big mistake), so I don’t know how accurate it would have been. My guess is that it would have been exact. I found the admissions office at Muhlenberg to the the most well run off of the schools we visited. It was the most organized and the most transparent and honest about the school and the schools interest in the applicant. I can’t say enough about how amazing the people are in the admissions office at this school. We visited many schools and nobody was as helpful and made the process as easy.

Our early read was on the nose.
