Does anyone know what Muir is like? Are the dorms nice? How extensive is the core curriculum? Any comments welcome!

The core is (I think) the least extensive out of all the colleges. It's something like 1 year of math (calculus) or natural science, 2 writing courses, 2 one-year courses of foreign language, humanities, or fine arts, and I think there's one other thing but I can't remember.

in my opinion, muir dorms are the crappiest out of all the dorms...

Muir is nice, I stayed there comfortably for a few weeks. The rooms in Tenaya and Taioga are suite style. So about 10 people share 2 toilets, 2 showers, and 2 sinks. Its actually better than you think, i never had an issue waiting for either of them. And they are relatively clean most of the time. The dorms have two wooden closets, two beds, and two desks. I would recommend a matress pad, the beds were a little uncomfortable. And if you're lucky enough, some dorms have an ocean view.
