has anyone taken this class? I'm taking it for the 6000 word writing credit, and I'm wondering if anyone has taken the online section. What do you guys think about it? How many papers, and how hard were they graded?

I honestly don't know much about music but I heard it's interesting and an easy 6k words

It’s easy but the quizzes are kinda difficult towards the end

ok cool, everything is open book because it’s online right?

also, how harshly are the papers graded?

Yea, you can use your notes. If you get professor Klepacki, he has a PowerPoint along with his lecture. The papers are graded by the TA’s. as long as you do the basics, you should be fine. Alot of emphasis is on the organization, GRAMMER, and format of your essay so do well on those.

hey, do I need the recommended CD’s or is the book “Music Listening Today” the only required text?

You don’t need the buy the CD’s. you can always go to the music library and use them there. We had powerpoints for our class so the book wasnt necessary. Depends on the teacher…
