<p>I was born in China and moved to Japan when I was 5. Lived there for 6 years and then came to U.S.</p>

<p>Is this worth mentioning somewhere in my common application? If so where?</p>

<p>Also, I got 730 in SAT II Japanese. Do you think colleges need explanation on how I got that score with my primary language spoken at home being Chinese?</p>

<p>If you want to include where youve lived, but it doesnt appear any where else (like in your essay), you can put it in the “additional information” section on the common app.</p>

<p>dont think theyll need an explanation, just the test score itself shows enough.</p>
