I know that many colleges use composite SAT from more than one sittings but do colleges do the same for ACT?

What I've heard on CC from those who have apparently studied this is that most colleges do NOT, but a few do. I don't know why the policy is different for the two tests.

To know the policy of particular colleges, you would have to ask them.

I went on a tour of University of Delaware and they said for both the SATs and ACTs they will take your best score of each section to give you a composite to judge you on and look at it just as highly as if it were one sitting. That's not a top-top school, and I don't know if that's just their policy or if that's the norm at some schools... question can be easily answered by asking a specific school.

yeah thanks
