I am going too!

Just got my ticket by email!

They’re going to send us our actual tickets by mail though, right?

No clue. I guess they should in case some people don’t have reliable internet access.

ceg1207 when are you going?

My flight arrives in St. Louis around 1PM on April 14th and I’ll be there until April 16th. Flight back leaves at 8AM. Ugh.

So when we get to St. Louis is there some sort of bus that takes us to WashU or are we expected to get there on our own?

@peachesncream: You don’t need paper plane tickets. You just type in your confirmation number at the check-in booth at the airport and it prints off your boarding pass.

I got accepted early decision. I’m from England but have a permanent resident card and live in th US. I didn’t get invited, would you call me multicultural? I’m a little sad.

Invitations aren’t based on the country that you’re from but rather by race (I think).

@lovewashu: You may still be able to get them to pay for your visit. Contact the Admissions Office and see what they can do.

@peachesncream: From what I’ve read about previous weekends, they’ve had shuttles from the airport to WU.

I live in the US, not overseas. I have lived here 10 years. I did say.

My bad. I edited.

I’m english, live in the US with a permanent resident card.

Then they can probably pay for your visit during Spring Preview.

Edit: If you want you can go when Multicultural Weekend is held, but you might not be able to go to, say, the dinner. Anyways I think Thurtene is held around that time, so you won’t be bored :)

I’m going! I’m so excited- is there anyone else leaving from Baton Rouge, LA at 6:15AM? (probably not…)
Also, do they send us an actual mail confirmation at all? I heard they send a packing list and stuff?

I’m so excited to go and meet everyone! We should start a fb group for this event! Congrats to everyone for getting in

Have any of you that got an invite already accepted washu or visited before?

I haven’t accepted or visited yet. I might attend Multicultural weekend but I highly doubt I’ll commit…my FA package isn’t good enough.

If you’ve already spent time there, why did you get a free visit? According to Washu, its for people who haven’t visited or have not yet accepted.
