I remember last year people heard right about now...is this through mail, e-mail, the portal?

Two years ago my D got a letter in the mail.

Well, let us know if anyone gets anything. I need to make plans for April… kind of ASAP.

I got an invite on my WashU portal

I got mine through the portal also. Too bad I won’t be able to go :(

Yes! Multicultural Weekend Invites are up. Just registered!

I got it too but don’t think I can go.
There’s an open house for another school I rescheduled because of finalist weekend.
And now I can’t reschedule it because I may have to go to Nashville with my dad.
Bah, humbug.

If you can’t make it, you can go to the registration page and have it rescheduled, I’m presuming all-expenses-paid. That may not work for you, Crozet, but I’m posting it here so others know.

@Crozet: I’m kind of in the same boat except me graduating depends on me being in town on April 16th (which is the Friday that we would be there). Stupid school.

Multicultural weekend is all-expenses-paid? If so, I’m definitely going!

I just registered!

Do you have to commit to attend Wash U in order to attend multicultural days?

i just registered! and no, you don’t have to commit. i think this event is their chance to try and get you to come to wustl.

Ok, that sounds great! I would love to commit, but it’s rather expensive. ): I’m falling in love with the school already, and I haven’t visited campus yet. I’m so excited!

Just checked and I got one too! I will probably go except I have a huge IB history review that Saturday. ALL EXPENSES PAID! Wow. Anyone know how many people get invited to this??

Received an invitation as well…and all expenses paid…definitely going for sure

Relatively new to forum. Accepted to WashU. What is this multicultural weekend and is almost everyone invited?

Hey lawyer. I was also invited and I’m under the impression that it is basically an informational weekend for multicultural students to learn more about the school and what it has to offer. I was also invited to the multicultural program at Vanderbilt, which is next week, and I know that I will be staying with a student on campus for three nights. I don’t know if Wash U’s will be the same…and I don’t think everyone is invited. Usually these kinds of programs only invite a couple hundred students.

are you parents going if you guys go?

I got an invite! and I really really want to go! It’s pretty nice cause it’s right before spring break for me
And congrats to all acceptees!
And I don’t want my parents to come with me… I’m most likely going alone.
